Custom Potty Chair

I know that hardly anyone reads my blog lately since I took a year off, but...

Anyone in the market for a custom, personalized potty chair?

My dad is one handy man, and he's made several of these beauts for his clients and his grandchildren! I chose the colors and he did the rest.

How cute is that magazine rack?! Don't get me started on the toilet paper roll!

In theory, Stells is a fan.

In reality, she isn't a huge fan of actually trying to go.
Well, I'm only joking -- this photo captures the one and only time (so far!) that Stella has pee-peed in her potty. She only looks miserable because she was IS teething.

Ohh... and once we are finished potty training, there's a cover to put over the potty seat -- so it turns into a regular chair. And we'll cut some paper towels down to size to fit in the TP area.

So... it's pretty legit.

You should buy one. Comment if you need more information, or just if you think this is adorable.

Wish I'd known your dad a decade ago when my kids were potty training, 'cause I would have bought one in blue and one in pink!

Hope you're having a wonderful 4th of July!

fetal friday?

I know that I left everyone hanging yesterday. You know, when I went to pee on that stick. (That was mean of me. Not the peeing, but the leaving hanging.) Well, I think the big reveal is best expressed in letter form. Deep breath. Here goes. dear unborn baby daughter son or daughter, I take it back. I take back everything I said about not wanting kids. I was just scaredspice, and the slightest bit selfish, and maybe I had a giant fear of commitment. But, three positive test results in the last eighteen hours seem to say that you actually are in there, getting all comfy. I guess you'll probably be here in mid-December. I never thought about having a Christmas baby. (You've really put a wrench in my whole taking-maternity-leave-during-the-NCAA-tournament plan, but that's okay. At least it's basketball season. Don't tell Daddy yet, but you are going to cheer for the Indiana Hoosiers.) Speaking of Daddy, I take back all the mean things I've ever sa...

Jud Was Right: Karen DID NOT damage her Lexus on the Traverse - A Garage Story

I am now CERTAIN Karen broke her taillight pulling into John's garage when she arrived home from FV. Here's why: The first time we see it broken (to my eye!) is  in the FOIA Ring Doorbell cam - we see Karen backing out at 5:07am. As Boozey Beauty pointed out, the angle in which she's backing out is odd. The beginning of the FOIA footage shows the SUV backing out and if you move the banner showing the play/ pause buttons, I think you'll see it. Watch the first 3 seconds, if you haven't already. I watched in .25 speed and paused each second. FOIA file ID 1643450878000. The TL doesn’t look “right” as it passes the illuminated vertical frame of the garage door. t’s better on video, but here’s what I see: There are a plethora of reasons I now believe she broke it 12:41 rather than 5:07. The things that got me here seem so obvious to me now, but sometimes my brain works in epiphanies. Come on this journey with me: When I was watching the 1/30/22 Ring footage of DiCic...

a little ashamed

I've been feeling a little guilty lately. I think I'm sort of obsessed with my own blog. Seriously, I adore coming home for lunch in the middle of my workday. My plan is always to sit down and write. It's the perfect time to work. There are no distractions (other than the hungry rumble in my tummy) or reasons that I shouldn't be able to churn out a good amount of words before I head back to the world of checking account deposits and cash-in tickets. However, I find that when I come home for lunch, all I want to do is blog. My reader is full as a good girl's Christmas stocking, and then there's my own post -- just waiting to be written. Something alarmingly witty, for sure. Something that will generate the multiple comments I will hungrily read from my cell phone when I sneak out for a cigarette break at 4:00. So, I avoid the writing -- you know, of the fiction variety. I sit here, instead watching the text fill the blank screen of a New Po...
