Random Littles

A Little Lame I'm so lame. I never have time to comment on blogs these days. It does make me sadspice, so I'm going to work on catching up on the 1342 posts in my google reader. (Seriously. Thirteen hundred unread posts. I follow waaay to many blogs.) Saving a Little After giving birth to an expensive human being and also purchasing iPhones, we are cutting corners here in the Murphy household. I'm looking for ways to save money. So far, not going out for lunch is helping me to keep more money in my checkbook to pay the bills. However, I need to find other ways to cut back. I'm semi-addicted to TLC's Extreme Couponing, and want to try to start cutting coupons. Howevs, I don't even get a paper in the mail and I keep forgetting to leave the house on Sunday to go buy one... oops. Just wondered if any of you are "coupon-ers." How's that workin' out for ya? Any tips for getting started? Reading a Little It's a far cry from my readin...

it wasn't a publicity stunt, i swear; or, i'm already back

Thank God. (Virus 2010: defeated.) I was starting to get the shakes from having quit social networking almost cold-turkey. And, boy did I need to get out a good blog post this afternoon. And perhaps letting out a primal scream or two. To be honest, the marriage of my former bank and my current bank hasn't been that bad. Yesterday was kind of like our wedding day, and now we're on our honeymoon -- already bickering like an ...

because i am so lame.

Is it completely lame to take a nap at six p.m. on a Friday night? I'll be honest, crawling into my bed right now for a little shut-eye is more appealing than: eating dinner reading watching a movie writing drinking listening to music shopping watching television sex. I'm clearly still adjusting to my new work schedule. I haven't been this tired since that time the hubster and I went to bed at eight o'clock on a Saturday night. (You should have seen us the next morning -- up and six and saying, "Um, now what do we do?" We obviously don't normally wake up so early on a Sunday morning. I think we sat on the couch in a daze until the basketball game we wanted to watch actually started at noon. And we discovered breakfast, which is actually a morning meal. Who knew?) Oh, I did want to watch that Hope for Haiti telethon tonight. (Good thing, too, since it's going to be on like everysinglechannel there is.) I just checked and it starts at 8:0...
