The MisDirect of Gretchen Voss: A Cross Examination - Part 3

So yesterday we learned that when Turtleboy first heard the news story about John O'Keefe's death, he gasp! - thought Karen was guilty of running over him. (And as we discussed, Gretchen doesn't mention that he - along with everyone else who watched or read the news - was told it was open and shut because of ring camera video of the incident.)

No, instead, in her next paragraph, Gretchen says that Aidan thought Karen was guilty BEFORE Read and her team started giving him access to info about the case to report for them. She does this by linking the two things together without providing insight into what OTHER SOURCES Turtleboy had access to between his "she's guilty, moving on" live stream on FEBRUARY 10,2022 and the time of his first CANTON COVERUP ARTICLE, April 18, 2023. These sources include: Steve Scanlon, a former cop who was a friend of John's, and the Boston Globe's October 3, 2022 (6 months earlier!) article by Travis Anderson and John K. Ellement, outlining the defense theory of dog bites, fist fights, a falsified time on the report about the SUV being towed from Dighton, and the cover up of the fact that the residence belonged to Brian Albert. Not to mention the 4/12/23 hearing in which these holes in the Commonwealth's case were argued to a frustrated Prosecutor and bench.

Voss is implying that Aidan's only knowledge of the defense theory came FROM the defense, which is patently false.

She takes a petty road when she insinuates the defense promises to make him a "star" and even an "award winning journalist" - as Aidan already self-identifies as that. Oh, and the "star" spotlight is going to come from a future shout out on Dateline.

Mkay, Gretch. I'm pretty sure Aidan's blog posts, You Tube Views, and X posts exceeded the viewership of one Dateline episode a LONG time ago. But you do you, girl.

Ahhh, now we get to the meat and potatoes. Voss says that with text, signal and phone calls, Read used Kearney to tell people about the alternative theory (and I'm actually shocked she used the word "alternative" here, rather than conspiracy... what a bone she's thrown Karen!)

So, Read used Kearney to publish details of the Alternative Theory with the actual audacity to hope that it would keep her case from ever going to trial.

Wait just a hot minute here.

A defendant in a MURDER trial... and indicted woman facing the REST of her NATURAL LIFE behind bars... didn't want the case against her TO GO TO TRIAL?

I mean, color me with blue paint surprised.

Wow. She didn't decide to plea (an episode for Matty McCabe) and she didn't want a trial. Is she allowed to want the charges against her to be dropped? Can that not go on one's Amazon Wish List?

I beg your goddamn pardon, Gretchen.

Gretchen is giving me a headache because she basically says Turtleboy holds himself out to be an investigative reporter, but no way Jose - she mocks him and implies he's not "investigative" because his "first blog was based entirely on court documents from the defense, including a motion and 92-page affidavit filed five days earlier, on April 12."

But Gretchen. For one, I thought reading court documents WAS investigate-y. For two, I THOUGHT THE DEFENSE HELD NATALIE AT GUN POINT AND MADE HER TELL HIM EVERYTHING DURING THE DAYS BETWEEN APRIL 12th and 18th?!

You @!$@!*# !##@^*

Let me take a deep breath here before I punch my laptop harder than Colin Albert punched John O'Keefe.

Gretchen re-caps Adian's first "Canton Coverup" post: Karen and her team say Brian Albert and Colin Albert beat up John, and Jen McCabe and investigators covered it up.

Voss says that "putting the blame on the 'witnesses' became a recurring feature" of the way Aidan Kearney reported on the case because Karen directed him/made him.

Wow, it seems like Aidan is the victim at this point.

Also I didn't know third-party culprits aren't allowed if they are called as witnesses in trials.

Jud Was Right: Karen DID NOT damage her Lexus on the Traverse - A Garage Story

Edit: ideal to read this with the FOIA drive open to access each ring video referenced as you go. Other recommended research/ reading: The Commonwealth's Statement of the Case June 2022 pg 14, and Evan Brent's trial 2 testimony. I am now CERTAIN Karen broke her taillight pulling into John's garage when she arrived home from FV. Here's why: The first time we see it broken (to my eye!) is  in the FOIA Ring Doorbell cam - we see Karen backing out at 5:07am. As Boozey Beauty pointed out, the angle in which she's backing out is odd. The beginning of the FOIA footage shows the SUV backing out and if you move the banner showing the play/ pause buttons, I think you'll see it. Watch the first 3 seconds, if you haven't already. I watched in .25 speed and paused each second. FOIA file ID 1643450878000. The TL doesn’t look “right” as it passes the illuminated vertical frame of the garage door on the left of the screen. Look at shape, not color. It’s better on video, bu...

Last Call: John O'Keefe's Journey from Waterfall to Fairview (12:11:09am - 12:21:09)

I tend to bury the lead, so let me say this up front: I won't get to any of it in this post, but by 12:24:22am on January 29, 2022, John O'Keefe had arrived at 34 Fairview, gone into the house, been incapacitated, and had been dragged down the two short flights of stairs down to the basement, and up the stairs to and through the bulkhead door.  Yes. All of this happened by 12:24:22am. And here's how I started my research this week to figure it out: When I decided to look at timeline, I didn't think I'd spend all my free time in an entire DAY focusing on the short time frame of 12:11am - 12:21:09. I wanted to go "back to the start" (shoutout to Coldplay!) and figure out what the time discrepancy was really all about. I started with steps: Hyde (report) 12:11:09 - 12:21:09 170 steps 326 feet Guarino (testimony) 12:11:09 – 12:21:05 170 steps 326 feet Whiffin (report) ...

fetal friday?

I know that I left everyone hanging yesterday. You know, when I went to pee on that stick. (That was mean of me. Not the peeing, but the leaving hanging.) Well, I think the big reveal is best expressed in letter form. Deep breath. Here goes. dear unborn baby daughter son or daughter, I take it back. I take back everything I said about not wanting kids. I was just scaredspice, and the slightest bit selfish, and maybe I had a giant fear of commitment. But, three positive test results in the last eighteen hours seem to say that you actually are in there, getting all comfy. I guess you'll probably be here in mid-December. I never thought about having a Christmas baby. (You've really put a wrench in my whole taking-maternity-leave-during-the-NCAA-tournament plan, but that's okay. At least it's basketball season. Don't tell Daddy yet, but you are going to cheer for the Indiana Hoosiers.) Speaking of Daddy, I take back all the mean things I've ever sa...
