Last Call: 12:21:10-12:29:44am - Clues in Jen McCabe's 12:29am Answered Call to John's Phone that WE ALL MISSED

Whether or not you agree that John and Karen got to 34 Fairview at 12:21 (see previous) post - we're picking up from there.  Per Nick Guarino and Ian Whiffin: 12:21:10 – 12:24:22 80 steps 287 feet During time frame from above:     12:22:14 – 12:24:37 Ascending/ descending 3 “floors” (flights) So, there's a gap. John's phone is showing steps from 12:21-10 - 12:22:14 that are NOT up and down stairs.  This is the time frame, in the family room, that he was incapacitated. Puffed up chests, punch, dog, dog again, punch, thrust backward. Insert whoever's fist you'd like, but John went down and hit his head on the fireplace before 12:22:14.  Yes, the fight broke out, and John was down in about a minute - fights happen fast. (Regarding family rooms and fights, if you haven't followed Samantha Beningo and the "I Don't Belong Here" You Tube channel, I high...

Last Call: John O'Keefe's Journey from Waterfall to Fairview (12:11:09am - 12:21:09)

I tend to bury the lead, so let me say this up front: I won't get to any of it in this post, but by 12:24:22am on January 29, 2022, John O'Keefe had arrived at 34 Fairview, gone into the house, been incapacitated, and had been dragged down the two short flights of stairs down to the basement, and up the stairs to and through the bulkhead door.  Yes. All of this happened by 12:24:22am. And here's how I started my research this week to figure it out: When I decided to look at timeline, I didn't think I'd spend all my free time in an entire DAY focusing on the short time frame of 12:11am - 12:21:09. I wanted to go "back to the start" (shoutout to Coldplay!) and figure out what the time discrepancy was really all about. I started with steps: Hyde (report) 12:11:09 - 12:21:09 170 steps 326 feet Guarino (testimony) 12:11:09 – 12:21:05 170 steps 326 feet Whiffin (report) ...

Jud Was Right: Karen DID NOT damage her Lexus on the Traverse - A Garage Story

Edit: ideal to read this with the FOIA drive open to access each ring video referenced as you go. Other recommended research/ reading: The Commonwealth's Statement of the Case June 2022 pg 14, and Evan Brent's trial 2 testimony. I am now CERTAIN Karen broke her taillight pulling into John's garage when she arrived home from FV. Here's why: The first time we see it broken (to my eye!) is  in the FOIA Ring Doorbell cam - we see Karen backing out at 5:07am. As Boozey Beauty pointed out, the angle in which she's backing out is odd. The beginning of the FOIA footage shows the SUV backing out and if you move the banner showing the play/ pause buttons, I think you'll see it. Watch the first 3 seconds, if you haven't already. I watched in .25 speed and paused each second. FOIA file ID 1643450878000. The TL doesn’t look “right” as it passes the illuminated vertical frame of the garage door on the left of the screen. Look at shape, not color. It’s better on video, bu...

The MisDirect of Gretchen Voss: Part 4 - Marinara Tears

I needed a break from the horror of the Lindsay Clancy trial, and this blog is the perfect outlet for my rage. I'd rather give my thought on the Commonwealth charging her and the disgusting opening and questioning of Patrick Clancy (that has thankfully gone to the lunch break, but I've completely lost my appetite. But I want to get through the Voss article, so onward I plug.  We're to the point in the article where the first in the "Canton Coverup" series has just been published, and we learn that Aidan Kearney is apparently THE most effective journalist in the entire state. Is this what has Gretchen so jealous? The Hos Defendants start getting calls, DMs, and make sad faces. Turtleboy makes a happy face.  Turtleboy did a live stream in which he showed a court document (a public record) that had addresses of the witnesses. If this should have been redacted and wasn't, that isn't his problem. Voss blames the defense - but it's a Canton PD incident repor...

The MisDirect of Gretchen Voss: A Cross Examination - Part 3

So yesterday we learned that when Turtleboy first heard the news story about John O'Keefe's death, he gasp! - thought Karen was guilty of running over him. (And as we discussed, Gretchen doesn't mention that he - along with everyone else who watched or read the news - was told it was open and shut because of ring camera video of the incident.) No, instead, in her next paragraph, Gretchen says that Aidan thought Karen was guilty BEFORE Read and her team started giving him access to info about the case to report for them. She does this by linking the two things together without providing insight into what OTHER SOURCES Turtleboy had access to between his "she's guilty, moving on" live stream on FEBRUARY 10,2022 and the time of his first CANTON COVERUP ARTICLE, April 18, 2023. These sources include: Steve Scanlon, a former cop who was a friend of John's, and the Boston Globe's October 3, 2022 (6 months earlier!) article by Travis Anderson and John K. Elle...

The Misdirect of Gretchen Voss: My Cross Examination: Part 2

We ended yesterday talking about how Voss states that the federal investigation into the death of John O'Keefe "ultimately went nowhere." Anyone who has watched the second trial knows this not to be true. Information used in both trials came from the federal investigation. Witness testimony from the federal grand jury was addressed in cross examination. Changing stories (and outright lies!) came from the federal investigation and were discussed at trial. Even if the public or the jurors didn't know this type of information was gleaned directly from the feds - since it wasn't allowed to be directly discussed - it did, and it was. So, the federal investigation did, in fact, go somewhere.  Of course, the federal investigation lent legitimacy to Karen Read's defense. This is a no-brainer. But public perception and the presentation to the jury are two different ways in which it did so. Voss now gives us a salacious tidbit - the Hos Defendants (I can no longer refer...

The Misdirect of Gretchen Voss: My Cross Examination: Part 1

Voss opens her politically motivated hit piece on Karen Read, Adam Deitch and Aidan Kearney with a strong statement of opinion in her lede paragraph: it wasn't a movement of true believers. The "it" calls back to the title - the "it" is "the campaign that acquitted Karen Read." So, according to Voss, the Free Karen Read movement - thousands who donated and spoke out and wore pink - and asked for the truth - were the equivalent of little December children who didn't really believe. (But unlike the kids who aren't "True Believers," we didn't get coal in our stockings. On June 18, 2025: we got an acquittal for Christmas.) Let's look at the Voss article piece by piece, to unwind the spin until it's threadbare. We open on the Lacrosse game, where "blogger" Aidan Kearney (not journalist, of course - just a "blogger") has a ten-minute interaction wherein Jen McCabe smiles uncomfortably, and Matt McCabe doesn...
