today's the big day (and it isn't too late to enter my giveaway!)

It was soooo hard to sleep last night! I'm headed to my Dr.'s appointment at 9:30, and I can't wait to find out if this little person growing inside me is a little guy or a little gal.

I had the weirdest dreams last night -- hubs family and my family were "there" and throwing us some huge luncheon for the big reveal. It was utter chaos. At one point, I had to walk down a street to get to hubs (I was trying, frantically, to locate him so that we could ride to the Dr.'s appointment together.) I ended up getting a ride from these four women on a float of some kind. One painted my nails. *Must stop watching America's Got Talent.*

I'm going with girl. Because I know how incredibly excitedspice you'll be to dress her up in pink and tape bows to her tiny cute little head. ... of course, it's a boy, just remember -- that's only one penis to worry about as he gets older. When it's a girl, you have to worry about every penis in the world :p

Okay my dear, the suspense is killing me!!! Can't wait to hear which it is. Ya know i will live through you on the whole 1st time baby experience then make my decision if i want to have one after ;) lol

Brett and Alice's Writing Style is the Real Crime Here

Here is a nearly sentence-by-sentence reconstruction of Brett and Alice's most recent episode of their podcast "The Prosecutors" - titled Adnan Syed is Guilty. I will not be utilizing the strikethrough in every sentence but will do so when I am compelled and will try to bold sections I've added. I've highlighted some of my favorite and most poignant edits.  I've tired and failed to stay away from a bit of snark. This endeavor was exhausting.  My work will illustrate how Brett Talley and Alice LaCour use narrative spin to bring you their version of events that they want to, for whatever reason, call "facts."
