TMI Thursday: in which i won't tell you about that.

TMI Thursday
Oh, alright. You didn't ask for this, so I won't tell you.

I won't tell you about the explosive way I decorated the back end of the toilet seat yesterday during my lunch hour when I almost didn't make it to the loo...

or the details, including the way it happened -- in which I began decorating while still in hover mode, pulling down my pants with an urgency...

or that after I cleaned up my earth-toned artwork and was back in the living room touching up my Wednesday blog post that felt a little something chilly near my tail bone, and had to change my panties.

No, I won't tell you about any of that.

Because even though being a poopy-pants certaintly fits the TMI Thursday category, it's just far too disgusting to admit that I can't get my pants firmly around my ankles and seal my ass to a toilet seat on time at the age of 28.

I mean, seriously, that's repulsivespice.

Who would read or comment on a blog post like that anyway? What well-adjusted adult would be able to relate?

This post is brought to you by UPS. (Unusal poopy situations.)

What can brown do for you?

Check out Lilu's blog for more tragic (and less smelly) tales.

I would never comment on such vulgarity. Or read about it.

I'm sorry Madam. Should you ever post such crudity you will be banned from my blog roll.

Well, I certainly didn't read it ... but if I had, I would have gained a great deal of respect for someone willing to let it all hang out (so to speak ;-)) in a quasi-public forum.
I'll never here that phrase again without thinking about your ass hovering.

Wouldn't be bad if I played on that team.

Thanks for the visual.

Your TMI Thursday is to diespice for, Amber.
I will add a TMI poop story to yours so you won't feel left out. I would definitely not have had a crap so big tonight that I wanted to call my husband in and brag about how big it was. Nor would I have thought, damn that would be one big penis. I would never be that disgusting. And that totally isn't even my most TMI poop story.. ha

At least you made it to a toilet.

And none of it ended up on the floor.

possessive

I watched Hoarders last night. During the first commercial break, I dared to look around my living room and I thought, oh holy mother of four-letter-word. Color me cluttered. Yes, it's true that most of my mess is hidden and collecting dust in the dark, but I know what's there -- like the 100+ VHS tapes in my bookshelf/ media cabinet, for instance. Yes, I love knowing that should I desire to watch my old school copy of Riding in Cars with Boys or Girls Just Wanna Have Fun or The Royal Tenembaums or Serendipity or Ghost World or Memento or... okay. You get the picture. It's there. If I wanted it, it would be right there. Also semi-hidden? Probaby 50+ copies of this weekly magazine from the late 1960's - early 1970's called Story of Life. My grandma gave them to me. Have I cracked the cover of even one issue? Hell to the no. I don't have time for that type of nostalgia. Plus, I can't even find a link for it with a quick google search. Something tha...

First Page Blogfester

Preface: TGIF. It has been a day. So. I'm participating in the First Page Blogfest in which writers around the blogosphere post the opening 24 lines of their WIP. (In a "real" book, this is the approximate amount of work that would appear on page 1!) This blogfest is being headed up by Kelly over at Kelly's Compositions . Please check out the other entries and leave them a comment on their work. My own WIP will be featured on Roni's Beta Club next week, and I chose an excerpt from the beginning one chapter one for critque over there, so today I'll give you the true beginning: the opening lines of my prologue. Here goes nothing. My working title is A SAD SONG IN A FLAT KEY Genre: Literary Fictionspice Prologue May 2005      Laurel sits Indian style. She faces the head of her bed and tries to focus on Cafe Terrace at Night, pretending it is priceless artwork instead of a cheap replica. She counts the tables first, and the...
