Top Ten COVID Confessions
1) We ordered from Door Dash three separate times this past Sunday. This is not the first time since COVID began that we have made a day of Door Dash meals. For those of you who are curious, we ordered bagels from a local bakery, something for dinner but I forget what, and like eight desserts from a local place. #EatLocal
2) We binged the 4th season of Australian Survivor (streaming on Paramount) in about three days. This took serious dedication, and left my back feeling tight because we watched the majority of it in bed
3) Speaking of bed, we spend many evenings and weekends in bed, literally, especially on Sundays. Hubs likes to watch "Seven Hours" of NFL football, and I'll watch along with him or: nap, read, write.
4) Also speaking of bed, we eat in bed, like, a ton. If my daughter is with her dad, we post up in bed and have had everything from steak to ribs on a white comforter that has seen better days.
5) We re-watched LOST, Fringe, and most of The West Wing during COVID, and we finished all of them like six months ago. This is in addition to SO many other shows, including Bob's Burgers.
6) I wore the same mask for most of 2020, until it broke. I mean, a least I wore one!
7) The last time I set foot in a gym was over 3 years ago, so I can't even blame COVID. In spite of getting married in May 2021, I have only exercised once since COVID hit. I bought some dumbbells hoping to get my wedding arms all toned, but after one try, I was so sore that I just gave up.
8) . My current shower schedule is about every two days. This is an improvement from earlier COVID times when my shower schedule was every 3-4.
9) I generally only apply deodorant after showering, but I try to remember to throw some on if I'm leaving the house.
10) Probably my grossest COVID hygiene confession - brushing my teeth pretty much falls in line with my shower days, and I just cancelled a dentist appointment this week because I'm too ashamed to go.
